As Winter Park real estate switches from a sellers market to a buyers market, sellers are forced to be creative. Now, a home stays on the market a lot longer than a seller would like. This is different from the homes that sold immediately less than a year ago. In an effort to seal a deal, several sellers have begun to offer incentives. A free year of lawn maintenance, a year's worth of free garbage removal, or a free year of security service are among the perks given. In attempt to entice buyers, home builders, who can not afford to hold on to an empty house, are offering to help with the mortgage or upgrade the bathroom at no extra cost.

Add-on's and lowered costs are good news for potential buyers. Now is as good of time as any to invest in a Winter Park home .

Alternative energy methods in Winter Park homes are needed more than ever with gas prices well over $3 a gallon and escalating electric and gas bills. So what are the oil alternatives for Winter Park households? Solar and wind power are palpable sources, but many have a hard time moving past fossil fuels since that is what we are all so used to using.

Those in areas with legnthy snow seasons, hold the thought that solar power provides a reduced supply of energy, a frequent misconception. Enough power can normally be created by just a few hours of sunshine. In the event of a cloudy day, solar power is supported by an electric system. Rebates and tax credits are regularly given for using solar energy in a lot of states.

Wind is a great idea for a power source, in theory. It is confined to states with a sufficient amount of wind. Burning wood pellets is a feasible alternative, if you have a special stove. Cutting back on our usage is perhaps the easiest and most cost effective thing we can do right now. By simply taking quicker showers or shutting off the light when you exit a room, you can save a lot.

Contact Winter Park real estate with any inquiries regarding alternative energy sources.

With climbing gas prices, the cost of higher education, and mass consumerism, the percentage of Americans in debt is swelling. Those in the younger generations are often financially illiterate while most adults see the dangers of debt. This could have an effect on Winter Park real estate in the years ahead.

Kids see superstars living lives of excess and aim to mimic that way of life. Before they enter the adult world, the next generation will be in debt. You can save your children headaches down the line by addressing budgeting now. Your kids can begin with the following things:

Get a job. Don't let a job to get in the way of school, but extra cash is beneficial. Always save. Put some of your paycheck into a savings account. Even if you only put in a few cents here and there, it really adds up. Budget your money. Save receipts from all your expenses and add them up at the end of each month. You will be shocked at what you actually spend. Do not use plastic. Credit cards have added costs. Only use your credit card for emergencies. If nothing else, be careful. Identity theft is common within the younger generations and an increased worry.

Soon to pop up on your mobile phone are the pizza coupons that suspend from your door. A good number of businesses are signing on with MobileLime, a mobile marketing company. Text messages are delivered to target consumers regarding special events or pizza deals.

A few may find this type of advertising disturbing, but others think of it as as a way to kill time. One customer mentioned that he reads ads while waiting on the bus or in an airport lounge. Would-be customers like the fact that text advertisements are easy to discard and business owners like that they are affordable.

Don't worry Winter Park, Winter Park real estate won't start sending you text messages in the near future.

Not everything I write about is concerning Winter Park Real Estate . I recently came across a refreshing story I thought I should share. In Roanoke, VA, a $973.65 tip was given to an expecting waitress. Ten $100 bills were left by a couple to cover a bill of $26.35 with a handwritten note saying, 'Keep the change! Have a great day.'

The 19 year old waitress considered the it was a prank and could not guess why she would be given such a big tip. A couple of days later, she got her answer. A 28 year old widow left the tip. She phoned the restaurant stating that she left the tip because she didn't need the money and wanted to give it to somebody who did. The waitress plans on using the money to assist with medical bills tied to her pregnancy.
